Eight hours in Atlanta
I'm headed to Atlanta this weekend to celebrate my Sister in Law's Baby shower! Most times when I head to Atlanta I don't get anytime to explore or play tourist. My family and friends from growing up keep me pretty busy. But if I ever find myself with eight free hours, this is what I would do! 1. Be Very Touristy- Atlanta has a few of the most awesome tourist attractions including the World of Coca-Cola and the Aquarium. Even though these are both really touristy places, I find myself enjoying them every time I go. Especially if you have kids of any ages, these are two spots not to miss.
2. Be Active- The Atlanta Beltline is a brand new attraction that I haven't even been to but it is supposed to be a great place to walk or take a bike ride. You can also hike Kennesaw Mountain or Stone Mountain! I love heading out to Kennesaw Mountain and doing a quick one hour hike. It's one of my favorite Atlanta activities.
3. Be Sporty- Hawks, Falcons, Braves if you like professional, Georgia Tech if you like college, there is ALWAYS a sporting event going on in Atlanta.
4. Be Full - Atlanta has some of the most amazing food stops in the country. My parents usually force me into eating at home while I'm traveling, but if I could there are so, so many restaurants on this list I would love to try.
What are your favorite Atlanta hot spots?
