We just returned from a weekend in Park City and I absolutely loved it! My husband's law firm has a retreat, where everyone heads to a new city and enjoys it for the weekend. Park City was their choice and it did not disappoint. I'll do a few more in-depth posts, but I wanted to cover my favorite things first.
Hiking and Biking- If you are in Park City you MUST hike and bike while you are there. We hiked up the Silver Lake trail and it was fantastic! Adjusting to the altitude was interesting, but the views can not be beat.
Enjoying the Breeze- We did a lot of relaxing on this trip, which was so appreciated and needed. We stayed at the Stein Erikson Lodge and our room had a beautiful balcony. I spent every single morning drinking coffee there and every afternoon in their beautiful restaurant enjoying a snack on the large balcony. The summer breeze in Park City was to die for!
Visiting the Olympic Park- I loved visiting Utah's Olympic Park! We were able to watch aerial ski jumpers practice into a large pool and see a bunch of memorabilia from the games as well.
Have a little Summer fun- We loved going to Park City Mountain Resort to have a little fun! We did the alpine slide, alpine coaster and rode the chair lift up to the top to see the incredible views.
Visit Downtown- Park City had one of the best downtowns I have ever seen! There were art galleries galore, tons of great shops and it is very easily walkable. If you love modern art, you will absolutely love Gallery MAR. If you are a whiskey drinker, definitely stop by High West.
I'll definitely be heading back to Park City for another getaway soon! What are your favorite things to explore during the Summer in a mountain town?
